Chiesetta di Santa Helena

Located on top of a beautiful hill, this little church was built in the XIX century. It is one of those popular sacred buildings commonly known as “votive churches”. In fact, this definition is incorrect in this case as the church was not built following a vow of gratitude to God. Despite not being architecturally significant, this small church is historically relevant as a product of local art, an expression of the strength of popular faith.
